Does anyone have any links to good tutorials on using MySQL with PHP? I'm trying to set up a website that uses MySQL to retrieve data about bikes and display the information on the webpage. I'd like to create a drop down menu that asks for manufacturer, then updates the page and asks for model, and then year, kind of like Parkers or a parts & accessories finder. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/fuzzbcf/

This is very useful, as it helped me to develop my ALevel coursework very well. ____________________ DNA50 (sorry) ->> TZR125l >> GPZ500S |

I never did this at A level. Come to think of it, I don't think it existed when I was at college. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/fuzzbcf/

I'll be using Dreamweaver to generate the HTML forms and javascript that accompanies it, it's just the php->mysql requests that I'll need serious help with. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/fuzzbcf/

Do you have a testing server set up with phpmyAdmin on it, as you can test queries without having to write the page as shown below:

Also get PHP Designer 2005, which has a debug feature in it to find problematic php code and give you appropriate error messages. ____________________ DNA50 (sorry) ->> TZR125l >> GPZ500S |
