Ive had me laptop for around 3 months and its starting to run very hot on the left side after being in use for about an hour. The vents are clear of dust etc and the fan does kick in.
Any way to solve it?

laptops do get hot when you use them.

you're not supposed to have them on your lap for this very reason.

Turn the laptop off. Thumbs Up

Your laptop is working correctly. If you manage to solve the "have a fast processor that doesn't get hot" problem, Intel/AMD/etc will pay you LOTS AND LOTS of money to sell the solution to them. Wink
