They said they were going to let me off 'cos they felt i have learnt my lesson.

Think it's too late to check for restrictors, it's home now so i took them out while i rebuild the bike...

Think i'll rebuild the bike as it's the cheapest option, plus i need it for commuting.

Diabolical Dom!

Your bike looks very muddy - I'm guessing the road must have been pretty slippery. Confused

Good luck putting it all back together, and no you can't have my fairings/radiator/footpegs

Shocked That's a nasty one. Glad you came away with very little damage, a shame the same can't be said for the bike! Sad

Shit Dom, very lucky man, could have gone either way, as the traffic was fast down there it was lucky you didn’t get ran over!!

Anyways, don’t re-build that dump, you’ll have no end of probs if something’s rattled inside, mind you might be less damage than the pictures tell us, cosmetically it’s shagged though.
Did that huge wall create a shadow that didn’t allow the sun to dry out that area, by the looks it seemed like a sunny part of road, sweeping into a showed area in which case it would have been damp and slippy.

Let us know what comes of this... Smile Thumbs Up

Better to keep that as a streetfighter than break it. It'll be worth more to you as transport than to someone else as parts.

Glad you're ok

You owe him more than one, you owe him a hell of a lot of sexual favours for that! You'll be his love slave for a few months at least!

I guess this is a section of bcf I dont normally go in. This thread has been up a while but its the first time Ive seen it.

Reading between the lines it sounds like you were lucky you didnt end up in hospital. These fast bends seem to be catching a few people out.

Sourcing all the bits for £200 is a bit of an achievement. Good luck with it.

Looks nasty, seems like you were lucky to walk away with what you did! Glad you did though, and just fighter the bike.. my friend has one all in blue with twin fighter headlights, and it looks stunning!

Take it easy,

Jon

Or you could say that you got Wave's crash curse from his leathers so instead of saving your life, they wrecked your bike Wink
