CANCELLED - I'm Afraid due to the joiners laying down wooden floors, all the doors, skirting boards and door frames in extreme3d's house deciding to take their time and not get finished on time, the BBQ will have to be called off

Will try and get another date fixed

First of all this is an open invite to anyone who wishes to come along but the basic plan is to have some good rideouts on some of the best twisty speed camera free roads in the country - Sunny North Yorkshire!! (inc that top gear road they tested the jaguar XKR on) and have a good old BBQ etc

Saturday 24th

Rideout in the late morning/early afternoon
BBQ In the late afternoon/early evening
Hit the pubs in the late evening for the night

Sunday 25th

Rideout in the morning
Afternoon to pack etc for those leaving on Sun.

There is sleeping space and SECURE garage parking for quite a lot of us (my guesses would be 30+)

You can arrive on friday if you wish and leave on monday if required there is plenty of sleeping space etc.

Would be good to get some people from further away up/down the country to come along. Its always good to put faces to a forum alias.

Please only post if you intend to come along, not really interested in those who are not coming.

We can sort further plans when we know what peoples situations are.

Think I'll nip out and take some photo's of the roads we plan on taking to give them all some more incentive... these are not the A class roads full of 50mph zones, double white lines, slow signs and speed cameras that you lot get down south, but lovely fast twisty roads with fewer cars, NO speed cameras and lovely scenery.

Did i mention the lack of speed cameras?, I mean it, there won't be a single one on the route. (Naturally we will be sticking to limits in any villages).

Pace will be fairly rapid on the whole, but with plenty of catch-up points for those not as experienced/on slower bikes/born-in-the-south to catch up and join us.

i have done the Creme-de-la-creme of UK roads in Scotland last year, the only place i have ever bobbled my tyre apart from on track.
