3rd EC Driving Licence Directive - final push

Hi guys and girls.

Well the story on the 3rd EC DLD is that following the reaching of a Common Position by the EU, the Directive has now got to have a final reading. However, before this can be done, the Directive needs to be translated into all of the official EU languages.

This is what is happening right now, and when it is done, there will be a delegation going to Brussels again to lobbying our MEPs just before the Transport Committee meeting at which it will be discussed.

We are therefore going for a final push at lobbying, and within a week will be asking you all to write once again to MPs and MEPs to ask them to put pressure on the Transport Committee MEPs.

In the meantime, it would be really great if you could pop over here and sign our online petition against the Directive.

has anyone noticed the VOSA changes to bikes and trikes?

what the hell do they think there playing at. they think they can decide whats right or wrong for us yet they cant decide if there french or dutch ffs. I'd stick to makin chocolate if I were them
