Paintball Details - Deposits taken now (Reading 23/07)

What?
Simple; Shoot other BCF members with paint.
Hopefully I don't need to go into great detail about paintball, this time we are doing it with Delta Force, who look to have quite innovative arenas to play in and have decent kit - see their site here.
Quickly, for those that haven't done it before - you are armed with a paint 'gun', the idea is to hit the other people with your paint, which sends them out for the rest of the round.
There is usually an objective, such as capturing the opposing base, or similar, this means tactics and a bit of sneakiness definitely help.
It does hurt a little bit when hit by a paintball and may leave a small bruise depending on where hit, however I would say the pain is a lot, lot less than say, stubbing your toe; so is perfectly bearable. Once you're hit you put your hand up and leave the area - you shouldn't get hit again unless you're stupid enough to walk through an active fire fight.

Where?
Just north of Reading.
Meet at my place just off M4 J12 if needed.
If anyone needs some floor space the night before, or after, I should be able to accomodate.

People are coming from various parts of the country, so if you're a bit further away, may be worth seeing if you can share a car to save on petrol etc.


How Much?
The day costs either £55 or £35, depending on how many paintballs you want. These prices include lunch.
I would recommend the bigger package as it's very easy to use all your paintballs - and if you don't, someone else will probably buy some off you.
You get 1100 with the bigger package, or 500 with the smaller one, I think.
If we can get at least 20 people, the first 20 people to get me their deposit should saver a fiver - so £50 for the bigger package.


I require a £10 deposit before the third of July to guarantee you a place.
You can do this via cash, cheque/postal order, direct bank transfer or paypal.
I will not cover paypal fees, so if you want to use this, the deposit will be £10.75.

The further £40/£45 will then be payable before 17th July.

If you do not get me the deposit by then, you may still be able to book after, however your place will not be guaranteed.

To leave the required deposit, please pm me, stating how you would like to pay (cash,cheque/po,bank transfer, paypal).
I will reply with appropriate details - for instance, address and name to send cheque to, pay pal address.

Feel free to give me the deposit in person if you are going to see me before the 3rd July.

Once you have actually sent the money off, please send me another pm to confirm you have done this (just to make it easier for me to work out who has and hasn't sorted stuff).

Yes, generally people are pretty friendly, as much as a 14stone bloke with a face mask running towards you trying to get a cap in your a'ss can be anyway .

I've had the paintball place hassling me, so I'll pass it on (they seemed to have forgotted we'd agreed on Monday for deposits to be handed over.)

Anyway, they say spaces are fairly limited for that day, so everyone, remember, deposits must be off to me by Monday to guarentee your place!
