playing iso games on psp

Is it possible to play .iso files (games) from the psp's memory stick with system software version 2.71?

Ive been having a look about and a few places want me to downgrade to version 1.00

any ideas?

1.5 is the only version that allows for iso's to be used on.

you can use a version changer but unfortunalty that only works on 1.5 aswell but always you to run as if in version 2.0/2.1

while were on the subject of psp's, is anyone having trouble downloading the free content off www.yourpsp.com ????
ive been trying to download wallpapers and videos but i just get an error

Yeah you'll need a psp downgrade for your firmware

Of course, doing it wrong could 'brick' your psp (break it beyond repair basically)

Luckily i have two psp's (one came free with my contract phone) so i have one running 2.6 and one with 1.5 for isos and homebrews.

Ah, crap my mistake.. didn't see it was 2.7, dunno why i thought it was 2.6
