how easy is it to remove the big rear mudguard? I see a lot of the pictured NSRs have had it removed, and the bikes look a shedload better for it.

do you need a bracket for the number plate/ replacement reflector?

I was also wondering if it might be an idea to have a separate "NSR tech stuff" forum as well as the main chat forum, mostly so that techy stuff is all in one place and easy findable...

It's piss easy to take that big thing off...There's a bolt either side of it, junt undo them and it'll slide right off.

It was the first thing i did to mine

We did have a "Technical Stuff" area on the old forum, but it became a bit of a nightmare to get the threads sorted in the right places - so it was all merged into one.

Whats the point in taking off the mudguard if your gona have a number plate there anyway? The plate practically takes up the entire mudguard!

It may be a uk thing, but the mudguard on my bike extends a good foot or so beyond the bottom of the plate.
