Ello all..

Slightly annoying problem with my newly aquired £5 ps1 (car boots, dontcha love em)

Nearly all of the games i have for the ps1 are imports, some of which were never released in the uk (or i'd just get them tbh)

So i plug it in (with the cable my proppetrly chipped old ps1 used fine in colour) and woo it works! but not in colour Sad

I hered the psone (the smaler one which this is) was able to play ntsc games right out the box.. so how do i get them to run in glorious colour?

Is there any way arround this? some magic box or would a chip help?

you should be able to buy an adapter that plugs in the back of your telly which can play ntsc games in pal format.. I had one when i was playing imports on my Sega Saturn.

If you got to one of those sawdust smelling electrical specialist places you should be able to track one down.. got mine in such a place.

You plug the consoles RF output into the adapter and then into your telly box.. flip the ntsc switch on the adapter and robert is your mothers brother. Smile

might be cheaper to chip the PS1 if chips are still available.
