So they do 'flash' then ?

I have one near my home, those big red light cameras
Only.. a 'friend' Embarassed

was driving along today, was going a wee bit too fast to stop nicely at an approaching set of lights (that were just turning amber), so the, friend, carried on through
They saw no flash, (don't think), and the light turned red just as she had crossed the line

Understand it is 3 points if she was caught Question

Yeah.

Not sure if they flash but they are timed to catch anyone going through the red light, x.xx seconds after they've gone red.

My sister gone done for it. The silly bitch.

Not wanting to get your *coughs* friend's hopes up but Mr Jon got points for going through a red light at 0.1 seconds... Confused

Admittedly he couldn't appeal because there was a speed reading as well which was somewhat excessive Wink

i have seen someone get caught by one.

they are yellow oop north apparently and grey down south as on another forum a southern lad said they were grey!.

so they may differ

and the one i saw flashed the driver instantly Thumbs Down

they had been sat behind another car waiting to turn right whilst the lights were on green.

as the other car turned when the lights changed to amber the car driver moved off.

as he was half way across the junction (monks heath lights in macclesfield if anyone local to there reads this)

the lights turned to red and the camera flashed him Shocked

well out of order that as in my eyes he was doing nothing wrong and could hardly have sat there in the middle of the road!.

there isnt a yellow box/grid there either.
