Maybe you should at least speak to him about drinking and get him to tell you if he is going out for a drink. Whether or not you approve he is still going to do it and im sure you would feel better if you at least know what he is doing.

I think im quite lucky as my parents dont snoop through my stuff and feel the need to be nosey, this is probably just because im honest what im doing and tell them if im going to a party, pub etc.


Well obviousley I've spoken to him now about the drinking, its not about approval, its about trust. You are obviousley a mature young man and I'm sure your parents admire your honesty, its when you don't get the honesty in the first place that s when we have to find for all our good, so that we, as parents can highlite the pitfuls in life, afterall I was young once too.
