Ok got new fairings for my bike, put them on thought i'd take the bike for a blast up my road to check everything was ok.

Going about 20mph then all of a sudden the bike dies on me (2001 NSR).
Try to start it again...nothing. Try to bump it.....nothing. After a few tries of bumping I got minimal power for about 5 seconds then it died on me again.

There is no power at all to any of the lights, indicators, headlight, neutral light, sidestand light, etc.

Might it be a fuse...the battery.....what does the god of all knowledge think????

Thanks.... Razz

under the seat next to the battery is a little holder (next to a big red wire), in there the fuse goes and there is also a spare in the casing...

try and tell me what happens

u may have a short somewhere or loose cable

Hi TJ,

Thanks a lot, I checked the fuse this morning. I put the new fuse it and the bike fired up straight away. So that's another problem off my list!!

Thanks a lot, once again......

Oh by the way I was working on my bike most of today and all I need now is the front indicators putting on but I don't know how they mount on, all I have is the indicator on a stem then the wiring and I am not sure how it mounts inside the fairing....can anyone take a pic for me???

Cheers.
