I reckon a ZX10R motor could fit with a little "persuading"

Except why settle for a comparitively revvy and top endy ZX10R engine, when the ZX12R engine could be de-tuned to around 150bhp but with masses of arm wrenching mid range grunt and with sensible gearing that means it would pick up the front wheel with every tweak of the throttle! more capacity and more torque for the same bhp is what you need in this kind of bike. Hell even the old 1988 125bhp ZX10 engine would be better suited than the latest ZX10R engine IMO!
