Hi all
Need a bit of quick (ish) help

My cheque is coming through for my written off car tomorrow, and I have only 7 days to hand my hire car back

I start work again next week, so desp need a car, or I can't earn Sad

I only know of a couple of cheapish garages in the West Midlands area, and I have taken a look, but they don't have much in Crying or Very sad

I would be VERY grateful if anyone could give me the name, address of any used car garages in the West Midlands area
Somewhere in the vicinity of Nuneaton, Coventry, etc... or somewhere nearish

I have just under 1K to spend, so not a great deal
I need something to get me to and from work and that's it
Just need to pay those bills !!

Thanks in advance Karma

Hi, have you tried Kerrs and Guest garages? They're in Nuneaton, opposite each other as you head to Tuttle Hill/ Mt. Jud.

If you're familiar with Manor Court Road, you go to the end so you're facing that chippy and turn left and they're around there.

I'm not sure if they're any good but it's worth a look if you haven't already.

Used car dealers in Nuneaton - try the yellow pages.

Much as I don't like to, I agree with anders here.

A garage will sell you a dog and tell you its good. A private sale will sell you a dog and have a harder time disguising it. However you look at it a £1000 car is going to needs repairs sometimes.

I'd be calling them and saying you can't return the hire car until you've been able to find and buy a suitable car as you need it to get to work until then.

It's fair enough that you're provided with a hire car at the insurers expense until you've been able to find a new car rather than you having to rush out and buy something in a hurry isn't it?
