Used to have a bb pistol as a kid, thinking of getting a Co2 one just to play around with.

I take it they're all still legal?

Anyone got any advice on what to get?

i hope they are still legal! ive got one!, it used to be a limit of 12ft lbs before it got classed as a firearm, the problem with Co2 is you need to keep getting the bottles refilled, mine was a spring rifle but has now been fitted with a gas ram instead, less recoil and quieter!

Still is. Wink Thumbs Up

I've still got a 25yr old HW80 that I've had from new. Still fires like it did when I first bought it.
Proper gun, not one of ya "Namby Pamby" pneumatic guns. Mr. Green

So do you have to buy Co2 refills? What alternatives are there? Can't really get a rifle, space limited

by far my favorite gun is my HW 45 LP by Weihrauch
accurate and powerful 2 stage overbreach

Yup I Got a 20 yr old HW80 K that still shoots as good as new!!

As for pistols you can still get single shot springers if you dont want the expense of co2 bottles....If I remember the legal limit is 6ft/lb or half the power of a rifle.

Or the final option is something like a CROSSMAN which has a pump to precharge it b4 each shot!

I play airsoft every Sunday, so I can just about justify spending the amounts I do on my guns...

My g36k, fully upgraded, real metal parts, real body kit (real markings etc). Oh and my trusty revolver...

I had a couple of BB guns when I was a kid, an M16 a Sturm Ruger and a Colt all fired plastic BB's and were crap tbh, only cost tenner each though. Also had a gat gun which was scary, think with it's hair trigger the barrell coming flying out would do more damage than whatever was in it!

Got a Triarrow B45 .177 pump rifle when I was 16 which you pumped up to make the power, 4 pumps was about 8-9 ft/lb. Finally popped it's seals though lastyear and I bought a Falcon FN.19 .20 pneumatic pre-charge, which is a lovely gun (12ft/lb). But I use rifles for shooting rabbits/pigeons and rats on the farm so they're not exactly toys.
