Before and After sanding!

Thought id post some before and after bikes of my RS. when i bought it it was a sorta weird matt effect. and then some shan stickers were slapped on as an after thought to cover i think.

Well i got bored and decided to strip off the stickers and sand that bad boy down to a nice shine..

The pics aint too great cause my camera is a bit pants but you get the general idea.

The new shine looks good, but it needs some stickers to go over it. Just looks a bit plain at the moment.

I always think the finish on Aprilia's paintwork is really, really good. The silk finish looks amazing.

Can't really tell the difference from the pics, although I agree, a couple of well placed (not too many) would look cool.

Yeah getting decals for it soon. Just wanted to get rid of them shan looking stickers! they looked well pretty crap..

Good idea, them stickers were well naff.

But get some proper stickers on it, to continue the colour scheme through the bike, where parts of it are already on the tail and top fairing.

scratched up my rs.. so need to sand it down and re spray it

thinking of goin for a shiny black too, and then buy a rizla/aprilia decal pack

shame i crashed it though.. i liked the paint job it had on it Sad
