Hi,

Is there an online route planner that allows me to input more than one destination (ie. Geneva -> Bern -> Luzern -> Zurich) and then come out with a 'line' (showing direction of travel, total miles and rough directions?

I don't plan on going anywhere just yet, so the destinations aren't completely set - which is why I'd like to check that my current destinations aren't ridiculous or anything. It's kind of hard to visualise on Google Maps.

Hope that makes sense.
Cheers.

This is the sort of thing I was looking for:

https://www.localsearchmaps.com/routeplanner/

Unfortunately it doesn't do half of Europe. Rolling Eyes

ah.. that looks like an AJAX app bolted on to googlemaps...

The only things I've seen like that is software like Alturion, or Garmin Mapsource for use with GPS software... I doubt there'll be much out there that's free to do this sort of thing.

Think ViaMichelin lets you list places which the route should go through, which is effectively the same as what you want.

Just checked: Go to 'driving directions', then 'options', then 'customize your route', and it will let you specify 'stopovers'.

I use the AA routeplanner quite a lot for UK routes. It can also do EU routes, and multiple destinations by using the 'Via' option.

Unfortunately, it doesn't show a map for EU routes, but it does give mileage. It coped fine with your Swiss route when I entered it (Geneva to Zurich via Bern and Luzern).
