Shocked Personally I wouldn't trust a suction cup!

I've used a digital still camera in video mode, sellotaped to the indicator. Laughing However I don't think it liked the vibrations; it corrupted all the video. Rolling Eyes

These systems https://www.steadymount.com/ were used to make movies like this https://www.drsardonicus.com/Video/Dragon%20Unleashed%20I.wmv
Interesting.

There's a decent looking mount on ebay that screws to the petrol cap on the fuel tank, only cheap as well. Keep meaning to get one but there's no point, as i ride like a big girl the video would be pretty uninteresting. Smile

you have to plug it in to a camcorder but make sure you have av in as well as out otherwise it won't work

I had one with 3 suction cups at the bottom ended up using bungie cords to tie it down get a bullet cam if your camcorder has an av in.
On a stand they are too obvious to the police and your just handing them evidence if they catch you.

I know you were only trying to show a camera mount but I thought the dragon video was rubbish.

Try this site.

www.roadmc.com

Now that's how to do a video or two.

You lot seen how the TomTom satnav mounts to the windscreen in a car? I defy you to remove that suction cup off the windscreen without releasing it. If it's any good it will easily hold the camera.

glass is a good thing to put a suction cup on, and in a cage they wont get wind blast either.

I did that when I did my tank cam, however it was vibrating alot.

I want to do a video from several angles, showing compressed forks etc.
