kawasaki gpz 500

im looking at getting a kawasaki gpz 500 but i havent been rinding for 2 years yet and im not over 21 so i have got to get the 33bhp restiction has eny one done this and can they tell me what its like?

if not chould u tell me if it will be to sluggish to bother and if u have eny bikes that you do recmend please share with me.

Get a 400; similar performance, better chassis, more backroad fun thrashing a 4 cylinder.

GPZ works fine restricted, and once you remove the restriction it makes a nice difference.

If you want a bike for fun then go for the 400 (or sports bike of your capacity choice). If you want a bike which will go far (I got 240 miles to a tank once when my bike was restricted) and be fairly comfortable, and quite reliable, then get a GPZ.

Both bikes are going to be capable of going quicker than your able to make them go for a long long time to come anyway.

Must admit that a second front disc would also be nice on the GPZ, though it isnt a problem without.

Depends what you want to use it for really. The GPZ is pretty bullet proof. If you can run to the later model then the twin front disks are definitely worth having (although I hear a braided hose helps with the single disk, not tried it myself yet).

But im on a bit of a budget but I think the GPZ will do nicely

Depends if your gona keep it restricted..
