I was contemplating broadband but each time I decide to get it, somebody tells me it's shit and theres something faster.

Not only am I shit with mechanics but computers too - tried to build my own the other day, didn't work.

Cable is by far better than ADSL especially if it's crappy BT ADSL.

To be honest, I was just going to call Telewest and ask them to make my 'thing go faster'.

Not very computer aware unfortunately.

I heard Blue...something did a faster one than broadband.

Blueyonder does a 512k, 1mb and 2mb broadband service. I'm using 1mb Blueyonder and it's fantastic

Demon are also pretty good, I got my 512 ADSL 20.99 a month, with a 50 quid connection fee, got my own modem and ure sorted.
