anyone know how to calculate windchill?? if poss

well its getting that time of year when you get in after a nice ride and your nose is bright red. So i was wondering does anyone know how to calculate the windchill i have heard at temp of 5 degrees at 30 mph windchill is about -15 is that right?? I mean IO know its cold but bloody hell whats it like at -5 temperatures????????

There is a way to calculate it, or at least approximatly calculate it. Take a look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_chill.
At the bottom of the page is a graph which shows 60mph (100Kmh) at 0C is approx -11C, however that would be on naked skin

Ive got the old balaclava out for neck and general face warming.

Wear this with a shirt, a thick hoodie, and an armoured parka jacket, jeans and boots, SUMMER gloves (god I understand all the airflow jargon now) and or course my helmet.

Here's an excel spreadsheet I threw together to do a rough calculation.

bear in mind the calculations become inaccurate the warmer you get.

modify starting speed (A3) and top temperature(C2) to affect the calculated range, and the associated wind-chill temperatures.
