asked about this a little while ago.at the time i couldnt get the nut off the variator,so today i bought an electric windy-gun off ebay.(well worth the £20).
got the variator off,on the vivacity i was told its not a washer as usual but a plate on the rollers that restricts it.
1.which plate is usually removed?

2. when i took the rollers out they all have a flat edge, not sure if you can see in this pic?

if there flat does that mean they are fooked?

the only plate (in top pic) that i could take out is the top left one,but when i take thaat one out the rollers dont stay in place??
appreciate any info on this as its driving my brother mad having to ride at 32mph flat out...
oh and before someone posts the de-restriction is not legal line, my brother is 31 years old and has a c.b.t.
thanks
dave.

There was not top left plate inside vivacity 100 variator. so i would get rid of it. if rolles have flat spots it's worth to replace them and don't forget to grease them a bit
