MCN alert takes large pinch of Salt,

I am anti MCN but I do look at the headlines and think sensationalist, I don't buy the paper though , as I'm against it.

The latest sensational front cover it bikes are soon not to be able to park free in cities,

This instantly has annoyed me greatly , in that the money grabbing bastards in government yet again want to grab more of our money with 1.2 million bikers lots of revenue can be generated

Me thinks a car costs £13 a day to park in the city ,? £6 for bikes ? £10 even? , which would mean I'd work effectively for the government 4.5 hours per day out of a 9 hour day), pushing the
dole tipping point to about £19000 , such that why the bugger do we even bother to work in the UK any more? ,

I of course have an temperory avoidance strategy to take a monkey bike in so the government loses on multiple fronts , less petrol , less road tax , no parking charges. Time to put some super agressive tax avoidance strategies into play me thinks.

Di Blassi bikes are certainly not cheap at more than £1200 new and just as much 2nd hand.

Very innovative and folds in less than 5 seconds Thumbs Up

ITCHY, could i ask if you have done any research on this issue as firstly, you say you are anti-mcn, secondly, to what i gather, MCN are not the most up-to-date mag in the world, so if all this is true, will it be in certain ares or unlimited nationally?

none of my comments wrote intended any offence, merely asking a question to gain factual knowledge. Thumbs Up Cool

i like the folding bike and there are some cheap ones on ebay

https://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?query=Di+Blasi&MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&ht=1&ebaytag1=ebayreg&srchdesc=n&maxRecordsReturned=300&maxRecordsPerPage=50&SortProperty=MetaEndSort

at 35mph i suppose its quite a bit quicker than a folding bicycle which is much cheaper

The charge is to pay the parking attendants (picture also from MCN).

that may well be true but , as said this just pushes the dole tipping point yet higher , and I'm not going to pay I'm going to avoid it completely,

jusy acceptance and rolling over just makes the government mroe and more greedy since they expect you to roll over and over and over , few years time when taxes go up even more , will you say the same or be miffed about it?

If we are made to pay for parking, make sure you take a full parking space each, one per bay after all its been paid for.

nah I think they'd still give us tiny spaces , and charge for them , use a big one = more cost or a ticket
