Hi guys

Woak up at 8.50 this morning and immediatly sprung in to action as Hippy is never later than 10 past 8 home from a night shift commute and he wasnt here. He used Rosie for his trip last night as the Blackbird needs new tires.

Got him on his mobile at the side of the road. It was wet and greasy and someone pulled out in front of Rosie in a 60 limit, having already gone to pull out and stop again as if he had seen the bike. As he breaked she kicked him off and he rolled across the other side of the road summersalting about 4 or 5 times. Rosie slammed in to the car.

This is a testament to riding in correct protective gear, all the clothes were scratched and torn (not to mention cut off him later lol) and his helmet was totally scuffed up but all he had was a broken ankle and a few fabric burns. Just spent the day with him at swindon Hospital and they took him in to surgery at 8.30 to put two pins in his ankle.

He says that Rosie is a right off Crying or Very sad. No Rosie for the Rock and Blues this year and jsut after getting her cool new cans too Crying or Very sad

Please take this an an official cancelation for the Hippy BCF minni moto day coming up - well at least the riding the minni moto side of it thats for sure lol.

This is one of those glass half-full/half-empty moments innit.

Sucks to hear about the crash, the injury, the written-off bike and all that, but so glad it didn't turn out worse. Bad luck, and at the same time, phew.

Get well soon Hippy. Rest in peace Rosie.

Just as well he didn't take the other bike or he could be blamed for not
having it road worthy.
Get well soon Hippy.

Paddy.

Get well soon Mike.

Just thing, here's an opportunity for a new bike that doesn't need the pink fur to hide existing dents and scratches!

Although the fur is kind of nice. LOL

Called at 11.30 last night and he was out after about 3 hours in surgery.

Thank god he can eat and sleep now when he arrived in hospital at 9ish on Wednesday he had just finished a night shift so he hadn't eaten since 10.30pm on Tuesday and had got up at 2pm so a tired hungry grumpy hippy in pain. But i add not to grumpy to chat up the nurses Smile

Thanks for all your messages I know he will appreciate them - i am just about to leave to stay with him a while.

He was found a bed at the Great Western hospital in the day surgery ward for some reason and i dont know how long he will be in but i know he will be fighting to come home today. If you are feeling like popping in if you live down the road he is registered under Michael Orr - DOB 08/01/71
