Your timing is crap for banning siggi. It is Alex-t's funeral tomorrow and there is a donation thing going on so you could have left it a couple of days i you knew what was going on with the forum. So all the attention was diverted to some cunts fucking about with one cunt instead of looking after the real things. https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=101646

Paddy.

i suppose your right, for people that dont know, there is collection going round, it will be a good cause do what you can.

sometimes paddy certain things cannot be avoided, just try to understand everyone elses point of view, i think siggi may have been banned only 2 days ago so there has been enough time for people to hear the news and make prepartions.

im quite new to the forums, and dont know alot of people but was sad to hear about alex,

Sorry - what effect does Siggi being banned have on that? Even if it's only because he won't donate, if he would have done, he could do without signing in.

Yes it was a tragic death, but life goes on.

You spammed this everywhere then paddy. Rolling Eyes

Guess what, Siggi being banned makes no difference to this at all, if we weren't discussing Siggi we'd be talking about something else. For people that didn't know alex the world isn't ending and I aren't about to go to the funeral or anything, pretty fucking morbid if you do go when you don't know him to be honest.

it comes down to personal preferance, we cant think less of other people for wanting to show their support Thumbs Up

There's a difference between showing support and expecting other people to stop their lives because of it. Death is never pleasant, especially premature death, but if we spent a week in mourning here every time someone was killed one their bike we'd never stop.

Plus, the vast majority of people on here didn't know or know of him, he wasn't a regular. So it's not as big an issue for those of us which fall into that category.

I know wounds are still open and people always say 'don't speak ill of the dead' and all that, but there's no point in dancing around death trying to make it glorified, when it's not.

yeah rookie i agree with the fact that we cannot let a tragic death stop our lives, and yep fair enough alex may not have been regular, but if you had looked and read up, the reason people give a toss is cos it raising money for both the remembarence and a good cause, i think he was working for the wwf. (not wrestling btw)

The only reason i replied to your message was because you said
Code:
"pretty fucking morbid if you do go when you don't know him to be honest."

which was a bit harsh, Thumbs Up
