Hi all,

I'm having some problems with flickr robbing me :X but once they've gotten over that and increased my upload allowance I'll be able to post the rest of them - but here's a quick 6 photo teaser (all I could do before I reached the monthly allowance... Sad )

Righty, on to the piccies Smile

Ok, so it's not a bike Wink but I thought the sand cars were cool - so here's one under construction...
https://static.flickr.com/103/298984679_1a3216d2ba.jpg

And here's it finished!!! Ok so it's not the same car - I'd meant to head back at the end of the day and grab another shot of the same car, but ran out of memory card space - 2 gig just wasn't enough Smile
https://static.flickr.com/108/298984686_b3a85573f2.jpg

This was the only display of custom bikes I could find - pity cause I think some of these are really nice Smile
https://static.flickr.com/117/298984688_868a6f46e2.jpg

This black one is definitely my favourite Smile
https://static.flickr.com/110/298984695_45c6815d3b.jpg

But the purple beastie's nice too Smile
https://static.flickr.com/118/298984702_60e6463211.jpg

And I am a fan of those exhausts Very Happy
https://static.flickr.com/109/298984712_f1eb4efab5.jpg

Now, I've got a lot more photos, and had even picked and cleaned some more of the best biking ones... But you'll have to wait for them until flickr get's in gear Wink Mad

Check out the link in my sig for the full size images...

Z.

Not sure, didn't pay that much attention to the stand itself - was with a mate who isn't into bikes that much (so didn't get to spend too long at that stand), and was before I'd taken my tests etc...

Was looking to get into bikes, but not that heavily at that point Surprised

I didn't get too many photo's of the custom bikes, but the ones racing up the track were my main attraction Smile that and the VFR, which I think just looks awesome... In black has gotta be the nicest looking bike in my opinion...

Z.

Flickr still ignoring me and stealing my money.... Mad

Finally flickr decided to sort out my account, so here are the rest of the biking pics Smile

I can't really add much commentary to them, not even sure what half the bikes are! But I enjoyed the day and some of the shots are pretty impressive if I do say so myself Wink

In general the shots go from older to newer according to the run lineup...

Enjoy Very Happy

Thumbs Up good pics.
Like to get down there sometime for this event but it's a bit of a trek for a day out.

BTW what camera were you using? I can't find the EXIF info on the flickr site.

Very Happy

Hiya,

I'm using a Canon EOS 350D - I've removed the EXIF data since I foolishly put personally identifiable information into the camera, and it faithfully copied it to every photo Embarassed slightly paranoid I know, but better safe than sorry Smile. I'm using the original 18-55 lense, could really have used a better zoom one - they're expensive though Wink

Thanks for the compliment on the photos - was quite chuffed with a number of them myself, got another 700 odd photos of the cars I'm going to clean up and upload soon - although I won't be sticking them here - slightly off topic Smile

And it's a bit of an understatement to say a bit of a trip - according to the map it's half the country!! Very Happy but it was a brilliant day... Can recommend it if you ever get the chance..

Aha, I recognise that black custom bike in the pics!
I spoke to one of the blokes on the stand about it after he caught be saying the back tyre was 'absolutely ridiculous' (He sort of agreed) it was about 2ft wide.
Not usually my thing but as most people can appreciate it was a very tidy and compact bike for a custom job.

Whosthedaddy - you know what that bike is? MV? I've no idea, so long ago could remember the announcements on the PA if they'd run in order anyhow..

Would like to update the title / description if you or anyone else reading could let me know the type / names of the bikes would be very grateful Smile

Can consider it a challenge to get them all named Wink

Thanks.
