Best bet may be to look in the back of BIKE magazine or similar for their figures.

Have you got a pic of the bike Milo?

Very Happy

theorising is all good, but it's not the same as doing 0-150mph alongside other screaming bikes is it? Cool

well the speedo said it did 155, and this is one of the things i wanna test so i can proove/disprove the accuracy.
we'll wait for matt/minesweeper to get his RVF back first cos that does the same speed as mine.

no, the RVF hit an indicated (on my bike) 150 though it's own speedo stops at 120 i think.
we'll see, but it's definitly a lot over 130 as i've been there before on another bike.
it's a very tuned ex-race rvf (twin rads with fans, race zorst, bigger fuel tank, etc) but again, it's something i wanna test.

If you want to really test your bike get yourself to BdB. Even if you are beaten by other bikes you will at least know just how fast you can cover the quarter mile and it will give you some pratcice for any future 'racing' from the lights. Very Happy

To eliminate debate, the fuel tank is 20 liters on my one not the standard 18, the engine has been tuned, to what degree i have no idea. The bike has definetely been used for racing (and crashed once or twice Rolling Eyes) Ive had the speedo miles past the 120 top. With both us pushing the bikes to the max they both have very similar performance til we reach a corner Cool

Im positive ive got a true 140mph out of it, must admit the main power is in a smaller band then normal but ive been able to keep up with yzf600's and milos xj900. As milo says when ive got it back on the road after the clutch and fork is fixed i would love to put it side by side to an sports 600 just to check the speedo's and acceleration.

Anyone who's met her at boxhill might have noticed she's also alittle louder then most 400's Rolling Eyes

Firstly the keys come with a yellow Brandshatch tag (not a keyring but similar to a festival bracelet with brands hatch etched into it) The fairings she came with have quick release bolts and fittings.
The light unit, indicators and mirrors were brand new when i bought the bike, this was not due to crash damage as almost all other parts appear unmarked. Crash mushrooms were fitted despite the fairing requiring drilling. All the blots attaching the light unit, clocks were brand new. The dealer told me......

Firestorm. Those who have met her at boxhill might have noticed she's also a little louder than most 1000's.

Does that mean she is faster? Wink

Only messing, I'll race ya though. Very Happy

Hi,

Standard gas tank size is 15 litres on the RVF. Yours is 20?

Regards,
Kevo.
