Doubt if I can join U this Sunday cos we have friends comming over
for the day for dinner drinks etc:

The VFR400 wont be ready for collection till Monday 13th May so
will have 2 keep the milage down on the NSR125, and reduce the
risk af damage, else I'l be paying the dealer more money!

Found a company today that can replace the spedo decal for a
Mph one by return of post. So will whip the spedo out as soon as
the bike arrives and hopfully should be back in time for the following
Sunday at Box Hill: 8)

Mole. You said about getting a mph speedo decal. I found an even easier way, if there is a Hein Gerricke anywhere near you all you have to do is buy a kmh/mph converter which is a little geared mechanical device which just connects in series with the speedo cable and speedo.

The other great advantage is that if the VFR still has the speedo restriction set at 180kmh then it wont make a difference as I am sure that no NC30 will ever get to 180MPH!! also the little device will make the kilometer scale go up at mph rates, so it looks like the bikie is a lower milage than it really is

I bought mine last friday (as soon as I had passed my test). Cost me 30 quid although it says £25 in the catalogue. Make sure you buy the blue one as the gold one is made for bike that read the speed from the front wheel and apparently the VFR reads off of the engine sprocket rather than the wheel.

Also it is that easy to fit that you can fit it straight away, no tools required, you just unscrew the speedo cable, screw in this little device, then screw the cable back on. No probs!!

we meet i the little carpark marked motorcycles only cos its never packed and it s under trees so you dont sweat your bollocks off inside your i peice suit:)

i think milo is from croydon or sommin (dunno if thats north london) so if hes comin im shur u can meet. those rs250's they pack around 60-70 bhp dont they???

thanks guys..

his prouces 55 at the rear wheel and 60bhp at the crank, im sure with a full arrors system and the carbs perfectly set, and ram air conversion he could get 70 at the crank!!


its a nice bike, fast of the line, put on hand made carbon end cans which sound like a real 250 GP bike, afew other extras like a steering damper,, gold bits and pieces, wider rear wheel... nice bike!!!
