Hi,

Anyone like to share some advice on how to ride with a new clutch? I'm picking the Fly up tonight, eventually and I'm wondering if it'll need some kind of running in? or bedding in? Low revs? anything.

Thanks in advanced for the tips.

AFAIK a couple of burnouts and standing starts should help it get settled in nicely! Razz

Only thing really is make sure you put it in oil for a bit before putting it in your bike. As kev says though, there is really nothing to it.

Hi

I am with Kev on this, no need to run it in. Just maybe be careful for a short while until you are sure it really is together properly.

As to clutches wearing out from burnouts, that is what they are there for Wink .

All the best

Keith
