Honda varadero 125 is a twin, too. I've heard the engines are incredibly similar in design.

Yep the dero is a twin, the engine doesn't look like the honda one.

which is also used in the cruiser.

I was referring to internal similarities, such as bore, stroke, component sizes/weights etc...

oki..

cylinders looks alot narrower and taller...
this would indicate different bore, stroke and components
