my boyfriend is always on a quest for sour sweets as well - he complains that the stuff sold here isn't sour at all (ie. sour skittles etc.) compared to American sweets. The best sold here seems to be those Toxic Waste sweets already mentioned! But if you can get hold of the American sweets called ShockTarts I'd recommend you buy some, but brace yourself!
Aha found them online I think..

Not sure if these are exactly the same as the ones we got in the US - packaging was a bit different - but the name is the same, so I'd give them a go! ____________________ "The problem with the French is they have no word for 'entrepreneur' " George W Bush

In order for something to be truely sour in my book, you must have the following
The twitching of one eye
The claw hand
Screwed up face
Mouth watering for the next 10 minutes
Head at 90 degrees
Foot stamping is optional ____________________ My Flickr |

I used to like these things
https://www.amazon.com/Nobel-Super-Lemon-Hard-Candy/dp/B0009ZC482
but the way people are describing some of the stuff that they like I don't think they will quite cut it for you as they're only sour for the first 5 seconds or so....
If you really are out to make your saliva glands spasm then I suggest that you just get some of the flavouring that they coat all of these sweets with, it's all the same stuff, some citric acid type chemical I'm guessing, and just dip dab with a chuppa chup or something..... ____________________ current bike: GSX-R 750 K6 stolen, found the next day in a van in Durham, returned to me 3 months later costing me my NCB and my excess...
