Im trying to remove the exhaust from my NRG scooter, so I can cut the blank pipe off it and unleash its power!! Laughing
Thing is, where it goes onto the cylinder, I just can't access it. I can get to the left bolt but not the other one.
Pic if it helps..

I can't be the only one with this probllem right? Embarassed
How do garages etc get them off? Any special tools or anything, tricks?

Its the normal hex socket type bolt. I tried getting a pic of the bolts but they were covered by stuff in the way. I think that its part of the frame or the centre stand in the way. Maybe some of the panels need to come off?

if i can remember you need to use a quarter drive set with one of those angle adaptors.

or it you get a 10mm spanner you can get it from one side but it take years.

Managed to get to it! Had to remove the panel in front of the seat on the side, where the spark plug is. Got em off with a small spanner. Very Happy
Thanks everyone. Thumbs Up

be careful you dont thread the exhaust manifold stud when replacing the nut that you couldnt get access to before, as its easily done.
also it will take ages to do back up, take your time! what i found helps when i did my mates was to lie the bike on its side exhaust facing up. put some old carpet down so you dont scratch the panels -- you could also use carboard but make sure you layer it so the weight of the bike doesnt put a hole in it and scratch the panels Thumbs Up

Dont do a wheelie in front of a traffic copper... it gets you 3pts and £220 fine.
