as it says do they make and automatic bike . like cars ? with gears that change them slefs . and don't just say yes its a piaggio zip or what ever. because i meen a real bike like a 250 -400 -700 ect

they do a Semi-automatic FJR1300..

It has both an up-down button on the left switchgear as well as the regular foot shifter.. but no clutch lever

I don't know of any fully automatic big bikes out there, and I doubt there'd be much call for them from a safety point of view.

Can you imagine a bike changing gear mid bend, and unsettling you?

There are also the big scoots - still a scooter, but big, currently available in 250, 400 and 500cc variants AFAIK.

Hi

There is an Aprilia out soon (shown at the end of last year) with a CVT "gearbox".

Older than that there was an automatic version of the CB400 twin in the late 1970s (and an automatic version of the CB750 in the USA I think), and Moto Guzzi sold an automatic version of one of there touring bikes. None were a success.

Honda’s automatic bike

Honda has launched a fully automatic concept bike at the Tokyo motorcycle show, which it promises will make it to full production.
The DN-01 concept is a sports-tourer based around the Deauville v-twin 680cc engine, but Honda has taken out the standard motorbike gearbox and inserted a scooter-style continuously variable automatic system.
The rider will be able to choose between two different automatic modes - presumably one for sport and one for normal riding – and a fully manual option so the rider can choose when to change gear via the bar mounted buttons.
Although currently a concept Honda has said that it aims to put the bike on sale in the near future.

I dont really see why anything other than a scooter would be desirable as an automatic. Using your gears is part of the skill required to ride your bike, so you may as well just go the whole hog and take the bus.

Oh yeah, my old tomos 50 had a proper 2-speed automatic transmission. Used to change up at 15mph.
