My provisional expires in September so i need to pass my test sharpish.

Can anyone who has been through the test give me there expierences / reasons for failing, things to look out for, what they look for in your riding etc.

im in the same situation, im planning on taking my test this summer

im well worried its gonna cost a shit load, cos ive been on a moped

i need to learn gears, as well as how to use gears on the road, its gonna be solid

anybody know how much trainin i will need? or approx costs?

That place in Bishop are pretty good IMO, so they should tell you all the stuff you have to do in your test but would never do normally.

I got 3 minors on mine for indicating too late at junctions (nearly failed for this) and 1 for lane discipline cos he says I didn't get into the right lane early enough when we were turning right at a roundabout off a dual carriageway.

Well ive ridden the auto for nearly 2 years now so its gonna take some getting used too with the gears. Although ill ride my nsr for a few weeks to get used to them before applying for the test.

im dredding the test, ill have a brand new nsr that i cant ride if i cant pass it by Sept Smile

If you have the "Road sence" you should be fine i only had 4 lessons then my test ,,, they booked my test after my first lesson Laughing
it's easyer than the car one. Razz

Just practice what they teach u all the time u are out then it becomes second nature Wink

Im doin mine this month on the 24th, havent told any of my m8s, partly because of the pressure they'd put on and partly because I wanna shock em' Very Happy . I did my theory back last september but ive been 'trying 2 save up' (whilst going out drinking) so Ive only just got all the dosh together. To help me get used to proper ridin again Ive been doin all the lifesavers 4 the past couple of months when ever Ive been ridin my RS125, but now that I was knocked off it ill be gettin an Twisted Evil VFR/RVF Twisted Evil so I need the test, cant f#*& wait!!!!!!
