Restricted 600s

Does anyone know what restricted 600s would be like,
Also what are the restricted rvf400 like,Speeds etc, they loom the dogs bollocks???

It's not as much how fast will they go it's how much good it will do to your engine. Aparently they burn oil like a 2 stroke. Dont know the mechanics of it all myself but the bloke i know at the dealers was pretty sure about it.

I bought my restrictor 'kit' the other day £135 for....2 large washers to go inbetween the carb and the intake, just like on the NSR.

These places know they have got everyone by the balls. There's not many places that can produce these kits so they can charge what ever they want. I did save a bit of money on the fitting, because it wasn't fitted.

I guess a rough comparison would be putting someone that weighs 17kg more on a NSR than someone on a restricted SV650

115kg (needs to be 130kg) 25bhp - 5.2
170kg - 33bhp - 5.1

Works out on paper but i was never all that good on maths

Sureley the SV will still keep a decent chunk of mid-range though, which would mean it'd be a bit 'nicer' to ride.
