It should fail for a leaking exhaust system. Get some exhaust repair tape and bodge it.

Are you sure its not a drain hole to allow water from condensation out of the exhaust?

If its definately rust then you can almost guarantee that its worse than it looks Very Happy try some exaust paste for the mot but be prepared for a replacement or get someone to put a plate on there.

a 5p sized hole will mean it needs all of them probably... cover it with paste and then use some metal tape over the top to try hold it all together and ride slowly to the mot station.

If its the bandit in your signature, i assume its the join from downpipes to rear silencer connector thats gone... Rolling Eyes

The amount of them ive had to do in the past Mad Mad Mad

This is what I dont understand. I only had it fixed less then 2 weeks ago. And yes, its the connector pic. Would I need to take the 'U'Bolt? off and refix it - or can I leave it on & work around it

MY TZR250 passed with a blowing exhaust. It wasn't excessively noisy so it got through.

My KE100 failed the MOT, but it didn't fail on its blowing exhaust! Smile

So long as it's secure and not blowing you should be fine. If the clip is on there but hanging loose he might fail you for unsecure.
