Hey all,

Seems like my ns rk has developed a problem this afternoon coming homing from work,

it keeps feeling like its dying as if the fuel is running out but only feels like it for about less than half a second?!?!

am i right to think that i may have a dirty carb of fuel filter or summit?!?

Really am not in the mood for breaking down Evil or Very Mad !!!!!!!!!

Cheers

Ben

Hi

You are probably right that it just has problems getting the fuel to the carb. Maybe a dirty fuel filter (under the 15mm round cover on the side of the carb where the fuel pipe goes on), maybe a blocked jet or maybe a blocked breather hose into the fuel tank (has to allow air in to replace the fuel you use)

All the best

Keith

It could also be your plug fowling up. When was the last time it was changed. My NS125RK does the same if its been sat in traffic or ticking over for a while as it oils its plug up but when i rev it, it cleans its self up & its ok.i run mine on TTS though.
I would clean the fuel filters out at the same time as changing the plug to be on the safe side or use a fuel system cleaner such as powerpills.
