Well, not me specifically.......

is being sold and replaced with

Recently I've seen PCMCIA, ARGHHH and others so thought it was time to take the plunge. If anyone is in New Zealand, YARLY, ROFL and even JIHAD are still for sale.

Might as well get a 3 series BMW, some Gordon Gekko braces and a Jeremy Clarkson perm to go with it.

My dads got DAV142Y on the car we use for trials , he payed £1200 for it 2 years ago and its now worth £600 , dont bother getting them its how they make there money , just like when you sell a car it costs £100 to get it on your new car, and if my dad ever choses to sell it back to them they will then re sell it on for £1200 its a vicious cycle.

oh and if you dont belive me you can just about see it in this pic.

Who is they? You can't sell your plate back to the DVLA, only to a re-seller, and of course they are a business and want to make a profit on top.

This was $699NZD (£250) and I don't pay any extra costs, plates are made for free and registration to the vehicle is included.

If he's that stuck for things to spend money on, I'll take some of it off his hands.

Going on the basis his '6 car garage' is where his bike restoration project is going, I doubt he's stuck.

I must admit, my dads plate used to luck better when it was on his Landrover, because the rear plates are like this ( this is his acctual old plate off the landy) so you can notice it more. so if any one is going to go for one of these types of plates, make sure that if it ever went on to a square shaped plate that it will still look, and still like your name/nick name. ps I spent ages polishing that engine, but its so worth it Cool

Why not just change your forum screen name to match your number plate?

Much cheaper, and you'll get a perfect match.
