This is probably the most annoying thing that could happen to you (next to actually crashing yourself)

https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/6305129.stm

Here's an idea:

They get a 3 verbal warnings to stop from the police (can be a combination verbal & signal). If they then do not stop, RAM the phuckers off like they do in other parts of the world. (USA for example)

If the thieves weren't wearing helmets, then that should be another charge against them! Tough sh!t if they come off! .|.. They chose to put themselves in danger. :!:

HAHA I'm glad my dads the way he is,

On July 6 2005 (day before the london bombings) My push bike was nicked outside an offy (there was a shop worker outside and I asked him to watch it why I got some beer) a guy jumped out of a car jumped on my bike an road off Evil or Very Mad Anyway the next day I told my dad what happened when he got in from work which was in algate at the time, he was caught up in the aftermath of the bombings and wasn't a happy bunny. After he shouted at me he took me to the police station, we come to a T juction and we are going left. We both just see my bike ride straight passed us. My dad gives chase in his car bumps up the pavement and cuts in front of him knocking him off my bike we get out and this guys kicks off, and goes for my dad he takes a step forward and the guy runs off with my dad chasing him Twisted Evil anyway my dad comes back and we put the bike in the boot and visit the police station. Cut a longer story a bit shorter the guy got 130 hours communitty service. After trying to explain that he thought it was his friends bike and he was bringing it back to me, how he knew where I lived I'll never know.

I know someone will make the point how I knew it was my bike and not someone innocent on the same one, so... My bike has a very rare colour scheme and after doing severly longer distance rides with several thousand people I have only ever seen 1 other the same, plus it has my blue speedo specialist road tyres and light etc.

The look on the guys face was pricless I wish I had had a camera.

The local scum nick anything they can drive/ride when the opportunity arises, and the police do nowt, because they nick it and pride themselves in getting away from the police, if the police aren't around, they relax and cock up.

Then they ditch whatever it is, with fairly minor damage, (they don't really bother torching it) and you get to pick up the pieces but still have it back.

It is all because they have nothing else to do apart from hanging round local shops, only to get moved on by employees or police.

Ram the fookers off the road!!!!

If they are still alive after they have crashed drag em to a bank machine and rob em... take they into a back alley i break their knee caps!!!

If i passed those fuckers riding my motorbike i wouldn't carry on riding. I would do a handbrake turn (or just turn around) then follow them back to their homes... nock nock....

Hello, welcome to no'legs'ville Laughing

I've said it once and i'll say it again:

Make a speech to the nation saying that if you steal a bike/moped without the proper gear on, police will not be held accountable for your ensuing injuries or death.

You have been pre-warned. Rolling Eyes

Injuries sustained during the comission of a criminal act should be the sole responsibility of the criminal.

However if these people had a proper concept of action and consequence they wouldn't be commiting the crimes in the first place.

Logically, morally that would be great.

But it's all because of those "do-gooders" and "it's against their human rights" wallies who are either hippies living off our taxes or the rich who live in low crime area's with their BMW's or Mercs who wouldn't know a crime if it came along and mugged them (so to speak)

Until common sense prevails and the law starts working for the victim instead of the crim, we've all got to suffer.

what a bunch of c0cks. Thumbs Down

Although does this mean I could go down to Chiswick Honda and steal an '07 Fireblade off the forecourt? So long as I wasn't wearing a helmet I could get away with it.

Coppers, they need their heads examining.

What's it to do with them?

Would you do something in your job if you thought it may mean being taken to court for it and possibly losing your job etc?

Absolutely. Then all that has to be proven is that they were commiting a criminal act, and job done. Police arent liable. You should be a law lord mate.

What G said.

Nothing will happen about until there is some shake up in the court/justice system, or so many people take the matters into their own hands, they can't handle the cases, they're not going to throw you in prison now are they? Wink

as far as i'm concerned, you wave all your rights to any sort of claim or grievance against anyone, as soon as you decide to break the law.

believe me, i'f i find a burlar in my house, he will not be treated politely, and may never be seen again.

same goes for these little thieving gits.

knock em off the bike, and they will just have to accept what happened, as they have taken it upon themselves to be in that position in the first place Evil or Very Mad

Goverment's arse backwards.
If you attack someone who breaks into your house they can actually sue you for assault... Neutral
Criminals don't get punished anymore and they wonder why crime is on the rise?
