It doesnt mention on the box that its thatcham approved, only insurance approved. when i phoned Bennets they said id get a small discount but not that much. No alarm will seriously affect your insurance price though, £10 - £20 - £__ from a few hundred on insurance? i can waste that in half a night out.

Back to your question. i dont think its thatcham approved.

In addition the the Bike alarm, i now have a 8210 for sale, blue cover, slight crack on left of case but phone in perfect working order.

There was no box with it, was a special offer from Car Phone Warehouse, was shrink wrapped with phone(and battery), charger and manual - ill have to dig out the manual, i never used it.

I have heard of lots of stories, peoples 8210's playing up, screen going off etc, i have never had that problem.

1) Alarm still for sale
2) 8210 + charger etc.

After buying a second hand 8310 on friday and a short (6 hour) trip to the pub friday after work, i have now lost my 8210. Mad

think i left in in the pub or I could have dropped in on the way home, or i could have drank it, i think i drank everything else that night...

Anyway, sorry, but unless i can claim of my household insurance, there is no 8210.
Sad

Postage and packaging in this case may cost more than the £60.01p your willing to pay for the alarm. Razz

Kitten + Food + Training + duck tape (to strap the alarm to the kitten) + Sticky labels (for return address)

If anyone has any ideas on how much this would cost then let me know Wink
