Evening all,

As the title says this about my application to become an Auxiliary Coastguard, now known as Coastguard Rescue Officer. Basically ive drafted up a letter to go with my CV (which ive not yet done).
Ive attched the letter, and i basically just wondered if anyone with particularly good grammar etc would be kind enough to read through it and correct any errors or suggest amendments.
For those that will do so, i've have changed the sentences that I think may need some particularly attention, to 'Italic' and blue.
Also as i have yet to do my CV, any suggestions on exactly how to do it are more than appreciated.
Thanks for the help in adavance
Thumbs Up
Liam

Hi all,

Well after sending my letter off and CV a while back i finally got a reply back today. Basically, theres isnt currently any vacancies but if one comes available they'll be in contact. Although something which may be to advantage is that, one of the current coastguard rescue officers is becoming the new station officer. The good bit is that i know him. Have spoke to him a few times as he helps down the sailing club as part of the rescue crew. Also spoke to him yesterday when they were called along with two ambualnces and the lifeboat, after a skulling boat capsized in the river, was swept out to sea, with the rowers and snapped in two.Twas very interesting.
So fingers crossed!!!

Thanks for help people
Ls

You are trying to sell yourself, not sell the company.
