My new can is rather loud, even on tickover. I've not had a chance to give it a right blast on the road yet but I'm not expecting it to very quiet.

Are these baffles you get any use ? I imagine that it will get used only on a few occasions but maybe better having ? There is a hole just below the exhaust spout so it would be no bother fitting.

It's to go in my CCC can.

I was tempted to buy those 10 quid baffle kits off ebay to mute the sound of my bike somewhat. I need to drill a hole in mine to fit the baffle. My main concern if it will go all the way in since the muffler exit is angled and not slash cut or straight since the baffle is straight and doesn't follow the cross section of the exhaust.

I had a Scorpion can on my Fazer, it had a similar removable baffle to that.

It cut the noise down a good bit when it was in - but still no where near the noise of the standard can.

It should be fine for MoT's, is the can stamped not for road use?

No it "should" be ok, it's just got the BS number on it. My tester has a GSXR600 and doesn't really bother, even if it does have not for road use on it.

ive found that the hole only fits at the top of the cans, unless u got a massive end can.

they do reduce noise a fair bit, and you can cut the end bit to sit flush with the can Thumbs Up
