Fair enough, my main worry when the bike is jacked up is our suicidal springer spaniel pup, she ran at full speed into the GPZ a couple of days ago, luckily it was on it's centre stand not the lift Shocked made it wobble a bit.. stupid mutt.

it will have been marked by now? Are the teachers letting on how you've done yet?

cheers mate no still got a bit of time left go back to school on tuesday and have got till friday to finish.

once its completely finished i'll get hold of a good camera and take some more pics

If you wanted to add some extra security to keep the bike in place a ratchet strap like the ones used for securing the side covers on lorries could be used over the seat or tank. You would need to attach it to your wooden base on both sides then simply pull it over the bike. This would keep it in place pretty much whatever you did.

I think halfords stock this type of thing if you want to try it.

I think it is an excellent piece of work. Not revolutionary but a good step on from what is currently available. Now it is painted up it looks very professional, although the rubber mat not being stuck down completely to the edges doesn't look as good as it could.
