what do you think?? ZZR 1400 or GSX 1300

i am looking to buy a new bike, at the moment i have a Bandit 600, and am looking for advice on a new bike. i've been looking at the ZZR1400 and the GSX1300 and was wondering what people think of the 2 bikes? which is better???

Depends what you want to do.

They are both very fast bikes that are easy to ride at a (relatively) moderate pace.

Note that if you want all out power, the new GSXR1000 produces more power than the Busa, I believe. Probably won't have as much low down stomp, though - but of course will weigh a lot less and turn a lot better - but for top speed won't have quite so good aerodynamics.

Ive heard from a friend that the almighty busa isnt a good friend with the country lanes.

zzr1400 - nothing - sorry.

So you have a bandit 600 now? wny not try a faster 600, an r6, gixer or thundercat are all good examples.

Or maybe ducati 748? VFR800?

The difference in power from a bandit to a zzr1400 or busa will be huge and scary. get a not so scary bike that will still blow your bandit away.


I mean, why jump to the fastest bike available? then what have you got to ride after that?

One of the guys I work with sold his Bussa to get the ZZR1400.
He rode the ZZR for about 4 months before getting rid of it to get another Bussa.
When I asked him why, the only reason he could give was that 'The build quality of the ZZR was completly shite'.

why not get a sv1000 or a gsxr 750. Unless you have your heart set on a busa or a ZZr i think these would be a more sensible option and much safer but still have a hell of a lot of power to make you smile
