We have been looking at two bikes today.

The Suzuki Intruder C800 and the Hyosung Aquila GV650 both great bikes for myself and with the accessories I want on them, they both cost the same brand new. So any advice or opinions would be of help, many thanks

By the way my husband has the aquila already and is very happy with it but is gutted that the suzuki is a larger engine and the same price so any advice will be great

Sharon

The hyosungs are really great bikes, many people knock them because there new & korean but they are top notch. I have a gt125r, my sis has the 250r and my mums bf is currently looking at the GV650, He had a test ride on one and said they are amazing to drive.

The GV650 is lighter, and allegedly easier to handle. Power output for both is going to be pretty similar but the Suzuki will seem to ride with a bit less effort.

Have you ridden either of them? Sat on them? Which "feels" best for you?

One thing to note, especially if you are not all that tall is that although both are low to the ground the forwards on the GV are very far forward, would this be comfortable when riding? (I can't even reach them....... Evil or Very Mad ) whereas the Suzuki controls are pretty much straight down.

Thanks babyyam

Sat on them both today, I agree with the positioning and yes I can reach them on the gv. I do like the footboards on the suzuki and it is more comfortable than the gv.

I think I will have to write a pro's and con's list and then decide

Thanks for all your help guys and Tony go and do some work or something haha Very Happy
