If your doing it on your own bike...dont forget to take your cbt pass certificate, insurance documents, driving licence and make sure your bike is taxed and tested.

Wow, lucky you!

Good luck - you have passed your theory test, yes? You'll need to take that certificate with you too.

Just lifesaver for everything, don't rush anything, and be cool. Thumbs Up Cool

no this is not good i am majorly fretting this, i have a load of on the road experience but most of it is 10 mph over the speedo limit and i dont use the lifesaver anywhere near enough, on the phone i spoke to a lady who said that what you learn at the classes is much more than the cbt, especially an angled hill start, im guessing when i pull off i need to mirror and lifesaver, when i go past a parked car lifesaver, when i move position lifesaver etc, what else do i actually need to know

As you said you cant cancel it now, so have a crack at it, cos you havent got anything to lose.

Have you read through the info on the link, I gave you. Question

You say you have loads of road experience, then in short time that you have between now and tomorrow...go and brush up on lifesavers, getting your speed down to correct limits, or whatever else is worrying you.. instead of sitting here fretting about it.

Have you read the post Banditbitch posted the link to? Print it out if you can and plough through it, it helped me pass.

Do you have any idea what kind of test routes are used round your way? Or if not, guess some by riding near the test centre. You'll get a stretch on a NSL road, roads with all the different lights/crossings etc, roundabouts, all that stuff.

So do your own 'dummy run', start near the test centre, and ride like Mr. Sensible The Test Passer. Do some one way streets, hill starts etc. Talk yourself through the ride, eg 'at the next junction turn right'.

Erm, erm, what else...don't speed, you will fail. Don't ride under the speed limit either, you may also fail.

Glance at your mirrors often. Lifesaver EVERY time you 1) move position (changing lanes, overtaking stationary traffic) 2) change speed (going from 30 zone to NSL, moving away from stationary etc)

DON'T indicate too early, (it's tempting to flick it on as soon as he tells you where to turn next), you'll get a minor each time if you indicate before a junction before the one you take.

Read the link thingy, that'll explain things more clearly than me.

Just try to relax (easy to say!), if you're tense you're more likely to make mistakes.

Don't forget your docs, don't arrive late, do what the examiner says.

Good luck Thumbs Up

hi you still haven't mentioned your theory test all you said in the original post that you have done your cbt if you have not passed your theory test you will not be allowed to do your practical test you have to take with you your cbt certificate your theory pass certificate and if you have a new photo provisional license you need to take the plastic card and the paper part of the license if you have the old style paper license then you need to also take some photo i.d. (your passport) if you have all the above in order then good luck loads of mirror checks loads of lifesavers and just make sure you dont rush it but get upto the speedlimits quickly where it is safe to do so and most of all enjoy the ride that is the most important thing of all ENJOY IT Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Good luck for tomorrow ilovensr.

What time is your test as I also have my test tomorrow. If your at Taunton the examiner will be from Plymouth as we dragged him in because they cancelled mine on wednesday cos the examiner fell ill.
Remember your u-turn has to be slow and controlled not as fast as you were doing them last week, anyway good luck Very Happy

one more thing when you are meant to do the walking u turn, which is the best way to do it? straddle the bike and walk it round or get off the bike and stand next to it

You have to be off the bike, using the handlebars to move the bike around. Not sit on it and push.

ok well i didnt fail but one of the indicators wasnt working so the test had to be stopped wasnt too happy with it at all hopefully i will get a new test quite soon, (within two weeks if possible), but within a few minutes of getting home i changed the bulb in the indicator and it worked perfectly, which irritated me even more.
