Just sold the NSR and going to look at a Hornet 600 tomorrow evening.

The thing is, this is the first time i've sold a motorbike and i'm worrying something's going to go wrong for him.

I'm not for a second suggesting it is and i sold as seen (stating that i'm no mechanic!) but being a 2 stroke bike with 14,500 miles on the clocks i'm worrying.

I guess its his responsibility to check and all this and he bid it to the amount he choose so do you think i should feel bad/worry?

Nice to see some people on here still care about their fellow bikers rather than being more than happy to offload a shed onto someone.

It's his bike now. Don't worry. Or is he likely to kick seven tonnes of shit out of you?

I'm relatively new to biking, but I've bought and sold my share of cars in the past... and you seem to have done everything "by the book". I wouldn't worry about it, really Thumbs Up

(When it comes down to it, the phrase "caveat emptor" still rings a bell)

Bike is sold, if it goes wrong and he didn't check it then it's his fault, and if he did check and there was something wrong, then it's his fault for buying it.

I'm going to see it tomorrow.

1999, 10,000 miles, aftermarket exhaust (and standard), renthal handlebars, small indi's, new tyres, service history, all blue, £1300

Worth every penny by the sounds of it

That sounds like an absolute bargain.
