If you're going up to Elvington Andrew and I've still got the bike you can have a go and decide for yourself Smile It's deffinately interesting in first now. Although when Zim was trying to wheelie it he did have a bit of a messed up hand.
A spread of power is nice, but I like the coming into the power bit Smile

Well, it's all fine and dandy having power all over the rev range... it's just that if you get a 4 of the same capacity... you get the same power up to 9k ish... then the bike actually takes off while the v-twin is having to change up Very Happy.

Yes but if you had a *proper* sports twin like a 999, RSV, SP-2 etc then 4's would need the extra power up top to catch up Smile

And he wasnt talking about a 1000cc 4 anyway was he? Razz

V twins are a mans bike and cannot be in any way compared to an inline poo.

No, don't get me wrong 1000cc inline 4's are bloody mental but id prefer a proper sports twin over any of em. Look at the new RSV for example, it is IMO a better bike than any of the new 4's.

And you base that opinion upon...Question Pictures? Specs? Actually riding every single other litre-class sports bike in comparison? Razz
