Another thought on the good/bad karma & rating posts for karma:
How about a system where karma is linked to posts, but a /signifcant/ change is only made when a few people have voted that way... ie only a very small bit chipped off/added if only person does any karma-ery stuff. |

Could somebody explain what this Karma business is?? Well, I know what it really is but I seem to have some in my profile now.
Weird though, suddenly I'm feeling more earthy and spiritual. "Peace and love to all"......that should be enough for a lottery win tonight I reckon.  |

Feel a bit embarrassed, I couldn't understand why the Karma thing wasn't working... it said in the help section that it would. Now I've stumbled across this...
I'll agree with wot these lot are saying.

The original karma system was based around giving karma. It now works automatically now, but I believe it has always been a part of king korns long term plan to make giving karma possible again!

IMHO, which isnt worth diddly squat, I think Karma and also post count figures are a COMPLETE waste of time space and everything else.. surely people come onto a board to chat/give and recieve advice etc etc and all that Karma and having a visible post count does is encourage people to write stupid posts like 'whats karma', 'why cant I give Karma' etc and to just sent multiple posts so they can be in the 'Top Ten Posters' list just to make their small insignificant lives feel more worth while. For gods sake, cant we leave Korn alone on this one and actually ask him for sensible upgrades to the forum about things that don't work.. jeezz!
Sorry, rant over, just had a bad day!
