If you do carry on with it, I would love to see the pics, as i said when the funds become available, the gpz 500 of mine is getting fightered and it will get posted on here
good luck whatever you choose

tis so
I did re-cover my seat in suede, though and it looks sweet. I'm modifying the rear a bit too, to give a clean look, so there's a nice gap between the rear wheel and the seat. I'll have to trim the seat lock bracket as it hangs down more than the queen's knockers... ____________________ www.bikepics.com/members/jackcheese <--- NOW FOR SALE! 51 Plate Cagiva Planet 125

Right, i;ve got more tarty bits coming soon, so it won;t quite be going to stock I've got a race fuel cap coming that looks very very nice indeed.
I'll be spraying the tank again, too. It was gloss, which helped accentuate the lines of the tank, and make it look a bit smaller, but now that it's matt (now i've stripped it again) it makes that part of the bike look really really heavy.
I'll get some pics up once i've got it running ____________________ www.bikepics.com/members/jackcheese <--- NOW FOR SALE! 51 Plate Cagiva Planet 125

i don;t have that kind of commitment. I'd love to have a 350 PV motor with a race CDi and open filters lobbed in there, but i don;t have the dedication or determination.

Just get a cheap YPVS and look at the road, not the bike .
(Ok, the handling isn't amazing, but then I doubt that SSSA would help handling either ). |

It's really not that difficult if you are good with electrics, and can weld, or if you know anyone with these two skills. I just lost the drive to be honest. I was half way through, and just could not be arsed.
I'd advise doing it fairly quickly, one weekend dedicated to doing it would see the engine mounted and wired in. The biggest job then would be getting the engine running right.
